Two months. Sixty-two days of hotel rooms, facetime calls, missing bedtime stories and daylight disasters. Tour had been everything Wilbur had dreamed of. Sold-out shows, incredible crowds, cities that took his breath away.
But that didn't stop the heartache.
Summer has just begun, and finally he's back on the familiar streets of his city, longing for the time he'd spend with his husband and kids. The morning coffees shared in comfortable silence, interminable dramatic dollhouse playtimes, sleepy kisses that taste like toothpaste, the weight of someone he love curled against his chest in the dark.

Summary
Nature and Progress were twin Gods born barely a few eons apart. They spent most of their time together, talking, playing, and admiring each other’s creations.
Nature was the more passionate of the two. Everything from the smallest of flowers to the biggest of spiders filled him with awe. He often spent years just running around and cooing at everything he encountered. However, there was a downside to that powerful flame that lit him up brighter than the sun, and it was that his moods were unstable. He was quick to follow his whims, routinely shedding his divinity to live one life among mortals as one of their own.
In contrast, Progress, while also passionate about his domain, had an easier time remaining detached from it. He didn’t understand his friend’s need for his escapades; he saw no appeal in mortality. However, he always missed his friend when he ran off. Divinity was much less fun without him by his side.
One day, when Nature yet again vanished without a word, Progress decided that he was done waiting around for him to return while doing nothing.
There was no point in him shedding his divinity as well, but that didn’t mean that he couldn’t wear a silly mask.

He pushed forward “we’re back, little one!” He called out. The kid giggles and laughs. The larger villain puts the kid down who runs over to him. The cuffs disappear as siren kneels down “mommy?!”
“Yea. See. All good now.” Siren says handing over the bottle.
“Big bottle!” He carefully holds the bottle “so pretty.” He says and sniffs the perfume. “Mmm hugs and cuddles.” The kid beams. “Thank you mister.”
“Oh and a cola. As promised.”
Tommy pushes his hair out of the way of his gorgeous blue eyes… a vibrant electric blue. A vibrancy he’s only seen in one other person. He takes the bottle and hugs his items “thank you!… I wish you were my mommy instead.”
There was a loving tug on the villains heart.

Tommy felt like he couldn’t breathe as panic clawed at his ribcage and sunk itself deep into his heart. Surely Dream was kidding? Surely Dream would wheeze out a laugh and jokingly berade Tommy for how scared he looked, say that it was just a joke. “You’re going to TheFirstEmpire. You’re going to become one of Philza’s humans,”
It felt like his whole world had been flipped upside down and mercilessly shook.
Every part of him wanted to believe Dream was lying.. He wanted to beg, plead, get down on his knees and cry for Dream to do something because Tommy didn’t want to leave!He didn’t want to be some dumb peace offering to another coven! He didn’t want to leave Dream, even as mean and cruel as he could be.

He rubbed at his wrist as he watched Wilbur and his kid wander around the little area Wilbur had cordoned off, just for the two of them. Tilin's ribbon felt too rough against his skin where it was tied, but he couldn't bring himself to care. It was all Quackity had left of him now.
He'd thought- well, it seemed in the beginning, when they all were assigned their own little hatchling to look after, that they'd been meant to be watched over by two people. Just enough on both sides it seemed like, even if they'd had two people missing at the time. Quackity hadn't thought much of it when he'd chosen Tilin- how hard could it be to take care of a kid? Surely it couldn't be any worse than just taking care of a pet or something?
He could choke on how wrong he'd been, how fucking stupid he was.

Phil would literally kill him if he brought this kid back. The Syndicate was already spread so thin on supplies, with Aimsey recovering from freezing, and Ranboo and Wilbur recovering from the bounty hunters. Not to mention the fact that Billiam III could be on their tail now. Either way, he yanked off his scarf and pressed it to the wound. The kid cried out in pain, nails digging into Techno's hand.
“Don’t look at it. What’s your name?” Techno asked, attempting to scoop the kid up while still holding pressure on the gunshot.
“Tommy.” He said. Tommy passed out before they even left the house.
