Ritorna il programma più amato d’Italia, XXFactor, spin-off in onda a seguito di XFactor, ben più piatto talent show musicale. Come ogni anno, dodici concorrenti sono stati selezionati, a loro insaputa e contro il loro volere, tra gli aspiranti musicisti presentatisi ai casting di XFactor, per prendere parte invece alla sua “gemella oscura”, XXFactor. I quattro giudici hanno sottoposto i dodici concorrenti a delle prove (mortali) a loro discrezione, per arrivare a un roster di sopravvissuti. I nove concorrenti si affronteranno in una sfida all’ultimo sangue nella XXFactor Arena, in un lasso di tempo massimo di una settimana, durante la quale rimarranno in live stream: fino a che non rimarrà in piedi un solo concorrente...

Alessandro Cattelan è un po' un perdigiorno e un po' un allenatore di pugili (che sarebbe pure bravo, se ci si mettesse). Le associazioni ufficiali non vogliono avere niente a che fare con uno come lui, così ha ripiegato sul mondo dei combattimenti clandestini. Ora che l'X-Factor, il più grande, importante e pericoloso torneo underground d'Italia, si sta avvicinando, Alessandro sta cercando un nuovo protetto da condurre alla vittoria e non si accontenterà di un atleta qualunque: lui vuole Mika, il "fulmine di Beirut", un misterioso giovanotto che sembra imbattibile, ma anche indomabile e selvaggio.
Ma anche riuscendo a ingaggiare il fulmine di Beirut, la strada è irta, pieni di pericoli e di avversari di insospettabile potenza, come il Klan di Mahmood, la brutale Emma Marrone o gli intelligentissimi protetti di Mara Maionchi. Riusciranno i nostri eroi a primeggiare?
