Amelia swallowed hard.
This was going to be one of the hardest decisions that she’d ever had to make; the last thing she wanted was to compromise her integrity for a lowlife criminal. In the same vein, there were innocent mice that had been stolen from, and they deserved to get their things back. Finally, she sighed heavily and rolled her eyes.
“Alright…I’ll go out with you! Tomorrow night at 8:00 PM…and don’t be late!”
“Ohhh, I won’t, my dear…that I can promise you!”

Lady Amelia Basil had a problem.
She was a woman.
But more than that, she was a woman born into a society in the early 20th century that didn't value or respect women, especially not for their work ethic.
To make matters worse, she agreed to go out on a date with lowlife criminal mastermind Professor Ratigan with the promise that he would give back everything he stole from innocent civilians.
What neither of them counted on, however, was falling madly in love along the way.

Olivia is (nearly) all grown up, as is Basil's nephew Jonathan, and they're ready to prove that they're both every bit as clever and adventurous as Basil and Dr. Dawson are. But of course, teenagers being in over their heads is to be expected even if they're not facing dastardly criminals, and it's going to take a lot of strength to face dangerous foes along with the insecurities and frustrations that come with growing up.
