Summary
My extrapolated story from I'm building off flamingpuddings post on Tumblr. What if Selina Kyle was Danny bio mom. That she had with Batman. And she put him up for adoption to her distance relatives the fentons. I've also taken the liberty to set the phantom time line up a few years earlier. Danny had his accident in Jr high. At 11 in 6th grade. He meets Selina at not yet 14 teen. A ton of DC characters will make appearances eventually. But it's going to focus heavily on Gotham based characters first. And slowly sprinkle in more phantom characters and other dc characters from all media forms messed together.
also to note a lot of characters will be introduced. a lot of relationships will be mentioned. most of the relationships are not monogamous or uncomplicated. if you are looking for a single ship, not the best fic. villains are not just villains and heroes are not just heroes. it's messy in here with tones of grey. Danny is the main focus of the story. with an ever growing meet and great format, with plot there in the background and slow going.

Summary
Wally is always too much for people, to adults, to his peers, to his own parents. He always stands out with his brain and looks, with his blue eyes and red hair. His name is more cursed than affectionately pronounced. Though, on rare occasions, he really hears someone saying it, mostly he is called a bastard, adding worthless and lazy whenever his parents feel like it. Other children call him a "witch" and used to play witch-hunting; when they would catch him, tying him to a tree with a rope and flickering lighter in their hands, using it to burn his hands until a light brown scab developed that can be considered even as a birthmark. Each time, new ones and teachers conveniently looked in another direction.
To add to his problems, he expected a divorce of his parents and a long custody battle. The first did happen, and the second… well, his mother ran away to Central and left him behind. What can he say? His life in the DC universe is indeed tragic.
