Summary
After a failed mission, Lance disappears. The team manages to escape, but the price is far too high. Lance's laughter, his jokes, his light… all seem to have vanished. Until a small, forgotten device starts playing old recordings.
One by one, Lance's messages reveal what he never dared to say while alive: his insecurities, his hidden pain, his dreams… and his love. Especially, his love for Keith.
As the team faces the void their friend left behind, Keith drowns in the loss, isolating himself, falling apart piece by piece. But Lance's memories, his words, and the love of the team will slowly push him to the surface. Because even though Lance is gone… his last promise still lingers.
A story about grief, memories, and a love that neither distance nor war could ever erase. A story of love and heartbreak… that maybe… just maybe… doesn't end in tragedy.

The war is over, the Paladins are returning to Earth after a multi-galaxy tour to spread the word of their victory over the Galra Empire, and two Paladins are still in denial of their feelings. Not for the other, but that it may be reciprocated. A catalogue of miscommunication leads the garrison to believe Keith and Pidge are already a couple, putting them in an awkward position. Meanwhile, the Garrison have assigned each Paladin an envoy to aid them any way they can, enter Liliana Cooper, a shy girl who catches the eye of a certain Paladin.

Keith and Lance were part of a different kingdom, pulled apart, unable to be together, though they were childhood friends until at 13 years old when they were ripped away from each other. With his emotions spiraling out of control, Keith went to the only thing he could trust, music. He wrote dozens of songs about his feelings for Lance, and how he wished they didn't have to be apart. When he was 16, one of his friends stumbled upon his music, reading it not realizing it was about Keith's deep feelings for a childhood friend that were never properly expressed. He urged Keith to publish them, and so he did, hoping that maybe, Lance would be somewhere out there, listening. Being the prince of the galran empire and all, he became famous for his music quick, he went on tours, and made even more music, some about his life as the prince, while others were about longing to see Lance again, his fans all speculated about who the music may be for, and suddenly one fan dug up some images of them as children, sent a letter to Lance, begging him to go to one of Keith's concerts, and so he did, and once again..they were together.

Welcome, to Arus.
It’s twelve days north of hopeless and a few degrees south of freezing to death. It’s located solidly on the Meridian of Misery, in a small corner of the world hidden away by a mass of fog no one but the bravest of Viking’s dared to sail.
Unfortunately, those that lived on Arus didn’t quite have a choice in the matter.
A flying mass of red scales, bright markings and fur barreled past, breathing a scorching plume of fire at the house across from Lance’s own. Lance, understandably, let out a yell in surprise.
The creature swiveled its head to Lance, and if he had time, he would’ve spoken every curse known in his vocabulary. Of course, the creature had other plans, and unhinged its jaw– green sulfur hissed, low and threatening– and Lance slammed the door shut just time to lock it before throwing himself to the ground.
See. While other islands had giant wolves and massive, bucking horses… Arus had:
Lance breathed, adrenaline coursing through his veins excitedly as his body shook with fear and anticipation. A smile crept up his lips and he whispered, “Dragons.”

Princess Y/n is the cousin of Princess Allura and also the previous paladin of the red lion. After woken up from a ten thousand year slumber, Y/n, Allura and Coran find that the lions have found new paladins to pilot them. Not wanting to repeat history nor put any one else in danger like in the past, she keeps her princess and paladin self hidden, leaving only Allura and Coran to know her true title.
Keith, Shiro, Lance, Hunk and Pidge all came to Arus from Earth by the blue lion. After awakening Y/n, Allura and Coran, they all became the new paladins for Voltron. Keith has always been suspicious of Y/n since the moment he has met her. Throughout the battles and trainings, he has always given Y/n a hard time since she has some unanswered mysterious around her. Even so, as the days went on, Keith starts to trust her and maybe even more than what he thinks.
Will Y/n be okay giving the red lion to Keith? Does Y/n really know who she really is, or is there more for her to find out? However, the biggest question is: Will the universe really be saved by the Galra Empire?

"I'm hallucinating now," Damian muttered to himself, as the boy stared at him, uncertainly, "Mhm, pretty sure I'm not a hallucination."
"That's what a hallucination would say, Richard," he said, knowing he sounded petulant. Whatever the Galra had given him to keep him quiet, it was stronger than many of the drugs he had become accustomed to during his training with the League of Assassins.
It was only for this reason that he risked falling forward. Fortunately for him, he was promptly grabbed by the boy. It was a strong, solid grip, and definitely not a hallucination.
Damian looked up, meeting eyes that reminded him of a dead man, and the other said, "You confused me with another person. My name is not Richard. It's Lance."
(During his imprisonment on an alien ship, after sacrificing himself to save Earth, Damian meets a boy who reminds him terribly of his dead brother. He can't be who he believes, but the resemblance is striking, and Damian just wants to believe that something left by Dick Grayson still exists.)
