Ten months after the Battle of Crait, the Last Jedi and the Supreme Leader of the First Order have kept their bond tightly shut, allowing the seeds of their mutual rejection to blossom into hurt and anger. When the location of the Resistance base is revealed, Rey must make the ultimate sacrifice: the lives of her allies and friends, in exchange for yielding her freedom to the First Order, indefinitely.
But new threats soon lead to the discovery that Rey cannot draw lines between the Dark and the Light as easily as she once thought, and blur the boundaries between hatred, lust, and—eventually—a deeper bond than neither she nor Kylo Ren could have ever conceived of.

Now that her reign as the Empress has begun, former Supreme Leader Kylo Ren has been demoted back to his rightful place at her side as her husband and second in command. To Ren's frustration, Rey seems to have taken to General Armitage Hux, and is keeping at her side to command her armies and please her as she wishes.
AKA - Empress Rey keeps Hux around to piss off her husband Kylo Ren and teach him that his place is to do whatever she wants, regardless of how much he hates it. She keeps Hux on a metaphorical short leash (and in a literal cock cage), calling him to her chambers when she is bored or wants to stick her finger in Ren's eye. Porn with a very thin plot. Basically an excuse to write femdom!Rey playing with Hux, who is grateful to not be dead, and even more grateful that if he has to bow to someone, it isn't Ren or Snoke. Plus, Hux can't help but have a hardon for a woman in power. Will have a threesome in the last chapter.

It has been several years since the Battle of Crait, and an ascendant Resistance fleet hunts down the last vestiges of the once mighty First Order. As the end of the war approaches Rey and Kylo Ren both seek answers to questions about the past, and are not prepared for what the past has waiting for them.
This is a rewrite of Episode IX/AU. I had several goals in this rewrite. One was to obviously avoid some of the plot holes, poorly thought out additions to the lore, and general weakness of the story in Rise of Skywalker. Another was to write a version that did not go back on so much of The Last Jedi. A third, and probably most important, goal was to draw more connections between the final episode and the prequels. It takes account of Carrie Fisher's death and the some other constraints I have read the screenwriters were under.
