Summary
After months of nearly nonstop battle, the Resistance has emerged victorious against the Empire’s reign of terror. Although there is much work to be done, for the next few days, the people celebrated their hard-earned triumph with cheer never thought possible before. At the center of it all was the legend, Sonic the Hedgehog, and the unexpected rookie, who braved adversity during the darkest of hours.

AU where long before the events of Sonic Forces, Gadget was a victim of a miraculous occurrence and took full advantage of it. Three wars, three Infinites, and three vastly different lives-- within that time, he attained everything he ever wanted and some more. A story about someone who should’ve been an ordinary, faceless wolf in a crowd becoming a symbol of bravery.
