Phil’s eyes slowly opened with a groan and Techno nearly jumped out of his skin. There was a moment of tense silence before any more noise was made. “T’ch,” Phil slurred, “I don’ wanna die.”
Techno’s mouth felt like it was full of cotton. Phil was having to beg for his life because Techno was a coward. He slipped a shaking hand back into Phil’s hair. He rubbed light circles into his scalp causing the older man to give a soft and broken warble. “I won't let you,” he choked out a promise. “Go back to sleep.”
