I faintly heard screaming in the background but I still couldn’t breathe. Everything was too hot, I tried waving my hands at my face, squeezing my eyes tighter as I did so. It wasn’t working. I felt faint, the world was fading and I tried waving my hands faster, trying desperately to cool down. Someone grabbed my shoulder and jerked me to my feet. My eyes flew open and I gasped in shock.
