Playing a mix of Inquiry, Empthay, and a healing song, he found Wei Wuxian and saw a glimpse of Young Lan Qiren walking down the hall. Abruptly, he stopped playing, only to see a nearly transparent image of him vanish.

Summary
They whisper to the desperate, if you go to the nearest body of water, a heavy fog will cover the area and a boat will appear in the water. The moments before the boat reaches you will be your last opportunity to change your mind and leave because when that boat docks, you'll be swept away by the spirit of the Yiling Patriarch and his son.
Most of the sects scoffed at this, Wei Wuxian is good and dead! And he doesn't even have a son, he would have been killed when they rid the world of the demon. Lan Xichen hid a smile behind his cup as Nie Huaisang snickered to himself and Jiang Cheng loudly scoffed. As no one's asked him if these rumors are true, it'll remain a secret between the three of them.
TLDR: Wei Ying became a god, Lan Yuan also became a god, the dead get revived, a sect is made, and the Jins can burn in hell, not you three.

The man was unconscious, but when he went over to offer help, he suddenly found a sword near his throat. He reasoned with the mysterious man that he meant no harm, but the man did not believe him. Surprisingly though, never would he have imagined that this man who was about to kill him now would protect and save his life later.

But quickly he realized it was more effort for Wangji to say yes than there was a comfort in being asked. “He wants to kill him in the Cloud Recesses.” Lan Qiren’s face screwed up as if it were painful for him to speak it.

Wei Wuxian brings Wen Ruohan to Gusu for judgement at the tail end of the Sunshot Campaign. A grieving Lan Xichen takes it from there.
