Summary
He started giggling, teeth clattering in his head, hands shaking with tears still pouring down his face. It was so funny! Thinking about it objectively, he couldn’t stop laughing.
The deceitful side was created to hide parts of his creator for his own sake and protect him from the outside world. He fails on both accounts. Then he tries to portray this to his creator to stop Thomas’ self destructive spiral. Fails again. Then he turns to substance abuse in an attempt to be able to function enough to keep trying, but when he can’t find any alcohol, he has a meltdown.
And what’s more his further attempts still fail! It was like watching a clown fall off a ball repeatedly, then get back up with a shit eating grin and go for another round. Well, he was no Pierrot, he knew when to quit. Maybe it was time to give it all up, for good. Finally give in, no one could blame him, or say he didn’t try. A noble sacrifice for the greater good, a truly gestalt act, not that he particularly trusted that philosophy.

Summary
Maybe in a perfect world, Janus might have turned out okay. Maybe Janus could have gotten help at a young age and maybe he could live life like everyone else. Instead he battles his brain in ways that are deeply concerning. Logan on the other hand looks at every possible aspect of his life with pride. He’s well spoken. Accomplished, and worst of all, head over heels in love with Janus. Maybe in a perfect world, Janus could love Logan back.

Summary
He was holding onto the rim of the floor length mirror in front of him for dear life, not knowing what would happen if he let go. He already felt so.. distant, from the world. He was scared of what would happen if he let go. Of anything, really.
Or, Janus struggles with his shapeshifting. Patton helps.

Summary
It started off like any normal day if you excuse the momentary abuse with pancakes, but it wasn't long before Patton realized the person they had fallen for might not feel the same way. Ignoring it could only lead to further consequences for Thomas as well but how were they to know how trapped Janus was in this "love".

Summary
Janus was panicking. His first movie night with the other Sides was in just a few minutes and he was missing his hat. He couldn’t let them see him without it, everybody had only just made up with each other and he’d lose all of the rapport he’d worked so hard to build up with the others if they did.
Janus felt like the mindscape had played a cruel trick on him. The others’ hair was all so beautiful… and yet he had gotten stuck with the mess he currently saw in the mirror. It was curly. Too curly; and ugly in comparison to the wonderful way that Patton’s curled. To add insult to injury, Janus’ hair just had to be blonde: a bright, platinum blonde.

Summary
Janus Newberry has been abused by most people in his life, he's used to it by now. doesn't mean he likes it. His parents never appreciated the fact he liked boys, when he was younger he'd always say "Boy's are pretty" but his parent's shut him down quickly, doesn't mean he thinks they're any less pretty. Then Ryan Crawford came along, convinced Janus his friends-his beloved friends-didn't like him anymore. Nothing could be farther from the truth. When he finds a nice coffee shop down the road-with equally nice baristas-what will happen?
