She frowned. then frowned deeper. She frowned deeper because she didn't know why the hell she frowned in the first place- they've spoken twice, ever. It's a surprise ENA noticed the absence in the first place.
Froggy frowned, not in confusion, in slight...softness? Oh, yes, concern. that's what they called that. He spoke up. "She called in sick today. brushed it off, but she sounded... Horrible, honestly. breathing heavy, and panicked voice. She practically snapped when I asked if I could check on her. She is a new hire, but even then, Coral Glasses never seemed like the type to snap so easily. I think something is wrong, but I'm not sure what."
Or: ENA finds Coral vulnerable and panicking, and tries so hard to help. Maybe she can fix something. finally.

Struggling to keep her apartment, to eat or sleep without stressing over every penny-she could hardly afford a moment's rest. barely managing adulthood- everything in her life is in shambles. Every desire now only persist as a sign that maybe, she’d be able to survive this grueling life, or at the very least attain a livable paycheck, someday. Maybe there was never any alternative easy road, and this pleading sense of purpose always simply depended on the labor, striving, and failing of an endless life of servitude.
Except, one day ...
A charming anomaly interrupted this miserable mundane.
Coral excused the ordeal for serving only as a distraction, nothing more.
But ...this anomaly would rather input its own sense of hope amidst misery...

Doesn't it get lonely? Don't you feel homesick? You may be around other people in this domain, yet you still feel so alone and away from home. Are you man? Are you a machine? If it was both, how mistreated would you be? Despite Coral trying to ignore her personal feelings in favor of productivity, the whispers in the back of her head eventually leak through like a spillage of ink; slowly effecting how she acts, how she works, and as of this context, how she struggles to build newer relations.
Through this particular dream, we especially get to witness Coral's hidden desperation for someone who understands and feels just as ostracized as her.
However, it's not just as simple as letting a button do the heavy lifting for you.

Everyone walking past her knows this, it's practically radiating off her. Although if you're not in the loop here's the stitch, Ena is big on routines. Everything to how she goes about her year to each breath is a routine. She counts months, days, hours, etc. every single second is dire to her. She's very restless because of it, although she has yet to stop. Everyone frequent in Ena's life has gotten used to this, hell if Ena got off a schedule that's when you knew something was up.
