Summary
The stakes sharpen in the Underdark. Every shadow seems to watch him; every cavern wall feels like it remembers him. Eyes. Always the eyes. Eyes that know Rensaire far too well.
His Urges gnaw at him more viciously each day, and he fights them the only way he knows how: by trying to become the kind of man others can trust. The one who keeps them safe, no matter the cost.
But safety has a price. And slowly, he starts paying in pieces of himself.
Looting the dead without wincing. Sniffing every drink like a hunted animal. Shooting first, morality later. If at all. He tells himself it’s bravery. Or pragmatism.
But he can feel it: something in him is slipping.
And then there’s Astarion—the beautiful, impossible game he keeps playing. The flirtation, the tenderness, the retreat, the ache of hope that won’t quite die. Rensaire thinks he understands the rules. He thinks it’s all just lovers teasing the line. But deep down he knows: he might be the only one not pretending.
As the darkness closes in, one question begins circling him like a curse, unrelenting, unavoidable.
Am I a good person?

Summary
Essentially a romantasy style writing of the game. Turning Baldur's Gate 3 into a written work. Adding scenes I created as well to flesh out the plot, like backstories and extra scenes you don't get in game. In the POV of my Tav and Astarion. For the fans of the Astarion romance arc. I hope I do it justice :)

The Architects of the Absolute
(Spoiler-heavy one-shots telling the other side of Rensaire’s rise and fall)This is a collection of one-shots primarily from Rensaire (Durge)'s backstory. All in either Gortash, Orin or Ketheric POV.
It is HIGHLY recommended you read the main series, "You and The Sun on My Flintlocks", first. Or at least a little bit of it. This is because otherwise, you won't know much about how Rensaire acts in his own head.
Anyway, that's just a suggestion. Read this if you want to, anyway. Just know it's spoilers.

Summary
This story begins and ends with death, and you know that. You feel arms around you, the darkness all consuming. There’s ringing in your ears, a thrumming in your veins like something else is beside you. You think you hear begging, pleading, perhaps the whimpering of tears being shed, and you wonder why you can’t see them. Below you, the ground is cool, damp, yet sticky, like something other than water pools beneath you.
You hear another voice, clearer to you, unlike that of what you can only assume is family, or friends, or lovers, or mere companions beside you begging for you to get up. It’s shaky, yet stern, like the hum of life itself is within it. It sends chills down your body, and threatens to jolt you out of existence altogether.
“So, rise, Challenger of Gods, and prepare for battle once more.”
Death will not claim thee.----
A complete rewrite of Baldur's Gate as Durge inspired by my own game. Please enjoy me refusing to let my beloveds go. -

I wanted it to be published on ResearchGate, but they declined, so I made an account on AO3. Just kidding, it’s a fantasy story.
Talula, a wizard whose magic has grown rusty after years of ordinary life, is the only one infected with an alien larva set to overwrite her mind and body in the next few days. With little support besides that of a single companion, she leans on her analytical mind to discover a cure, but her every well-considered decision ends in a new disaster.

Fandom-blind friendly, but contains spoilers the way tea contains liquid. If not for the headcanons and alternative companions, it might count as a novelization of the main quest and the Emperor’s side quests. Also includes the events from the Emperor's POV and some character study. Finished and now being reviewed and then published roughly one chapter per week.

Summary
Geir Dagrsson knows three things: cattle die, kinsmen die, but the one thing that doesn’t is a man’s deeds. He just didn’t expect his greatest one to be marrying the brat prince of East Anglia, and worst of all, the son of one of his father’s killers: a Saxon.
Ӕlfstan, son of Cadwallon, loathes the heathens plaguing their lands. When he is sold off in marriage to one, he will do whatever it takes to free himself from the man, his father’s wishes be damned. The Viking he is promised to also proves to be just as irritating as he expected.
Little do they both know, sinister forces are looking to sow more discord between the denizens of East Anglia, with Geir and Ӕlfstan at the centre of it all.

Pre-events of Baldur's Gate 3.
Kisik, the chosen of Bhaal, the secret lover of Enver Gortash--disappears one day, and their sister, Orin, steps up. Gortash, bound to duty and sworn not to meddle in others' affairs, will forever wonder what happened to Kisik.
This explores my original character Kisik's journey, from pre- to current tadpole timeline. Will stay relatively faithful to the storyline. Tags will be updated as I go, with slow updates likely.

Summary
Saphir Stellamaris wouldn't call his a lot a charmed life exactly. Sure you get to wear fancy silks and jewels and rub elbows with the Gate's Great and the Good. You also have to serve them in whatever way they request. Thankfully they'll pay out the nose for a taste of something exotic and his particular skillset makes it so he doesn't have to endure the worst of it. Still with his coffers now overflowing Saphir wonders how to start extracting himself from this lifestyle and how exactly someone of his background is going to make his plans for the future work. After all a foulblood no matter their breeding is still a foulblood at the end of the day. And even the most progressive cities would most likely balk at his ideas. Although...maybe...maybe this Gortash fellow could be a way of getting his hoof in the door. After all if someone of common blood can rise through the ranks at the rate he has surely he knows something of breaking through glass ceilings.
The man in fact did not have anything helpful to share.
Kidnapped and literally tossed into a nautiloid for processing Saphir a tiefling courtesan of some renown is having a terrible no good very bad day.

Summary
“Your ears…they're pointy,” you coughed weakly as you reached up and lightly touched one.
Their moist red lips slowly parted in surprise before breaking into a smile that didn’t reach their eyes. “Faerûn is on its’ knees and you’re worried about my ears? Think fast, darling. Damsels rescue themselves here.”
