Kirby can't help but be a little reminded of where he came from.
Familiar faces like Meta Knight and Dedede are there, but they're also so different. It doesn't make sense, how people who wore their faces could be so different.How someone who wore his own could be so different.
Even so, the him that knows here is kind, and is super nice to him. He took him in, and made him feel less alone. No matter how different the land that shares the name of his homeland is, he has a guide who he's grown close to. The threats here are also so different. They're so much less common, he has days he can just rest.
However, when one of the threats he's been told about shows up, it's entirely different to anything he's faced.(ON HIATUS OF SORTS - Not cancelled!)

One night, Emu was texting the Wonderlands x Showtime group chat a wonderhoy night with sweet dreams in which she got no replies to because it was 1 am and everyone was asleep. After putting her phone away, she turned off the lights and tucked in herself in her bed. She could tell it was gonna be a cozy night as she reached for the comically large plush of Kirby on the corner of her bed. She easily snuggled and he eyelids forced themselves shut, falling into deep slumber.
When Emu woke up, she felt a bit different. She was round! Like literally. She was a ball with oval feets and ball hands?Or
Emu gets 'transported' into Kirby and the Forgotten Land AS KIRBY 'somehow'.

(Or, through a freak fluctuation in the multiverse, Kirby and Bandana Dee land smack in the middle of the turtles' lair instead of Arrival Point or Waddle Dee Town. The turtles, who have already experienced a multiversal crisis, are loathe to let such innocent-looking puffballs go back to a dimension that set off Donny's sensors and comes up as incredibly dangerous… even if they can't quite find the source of that danger yet.)
