Summary
Coldness slips around his fingers, tightens around his wrist, as he calls out through the force. Down, deep into the unknown. Coldness, chilly winds, licks against his skin. Against his soft cheeks and brushes his long lucks of hair into the air, before he hears and feels the desperate, terrified responds from the creature below him.
He feels the darkness in his vision, growing into dark clouds as he falls. Deep down, somewhere below an invisible wall. He feels that coldness, that pain sticking coldness that digs into his bones, drowns him, and leaves him paralyzed. His cloths, no, his whole body feels heavy. So heavy. So cold.
So tired.
Ezra reaches out, his fingers finally escaping the cold water. He pulls, with all his strength, he pulls himself up as far as he can. But his weight it more than the fragile layer than handle, it breaks under him, forcing him under once more, he’s forced to plummet again, Kanan’s voice echo’s distantly in his head.
“Ezra!”.

Summary
Commander Sato turns away from the map table at their arrival. His gaze freezes on a bound Kallus.
Out of all the expressions expected to cross Sato’s face, Zeb didn’t think his chosen one would be of disappointment.
But instead of talking to any of them, he walks to face Kallus. So many questions linger in his eyes, but they are disregarded for bitterness.
“Fulcrum,” Sato says, “please tell me you have it.”
Kallus bobs his head. “I do, Commander.”
Zeb’s mind is thrown in a blender. Ezra openly gawks and Sabine blinks in disbelief at Kallus. Hera and Kanan shoot dirty looks at Sato.
Whatever they say, Zeb doesn’t hear it. His mind is stuck on the fact that Kallus, the ISB agent who has caused them grief, was a double agent for the Rebellion.
And by bringing Kallus here, they had probably done some damage.

The creature had only been a kitten when Ezra first saw it, aged three and playing outside his front door whilst his father fixed his tricycle. He had dropped the stick he was using to draw in the dirt path, the branch rolling away, too far for the little boy to run and grab it. Ezra, had been about to cry when the loth-cat came plodding over with the stick in its mouth. It placed it at his feet, meowing once before it pranced away. Ever since, Ezra couldn’t remember a time when the loth-cat hadn’t been somewhere in his life.
