Summary
After the death of Yukimura, a widowed MC takes Momo back to Kyoto to raise her. She could not anticipate that the Divine Ruler would demand she come to work as his own cook, or understand why he would demand his retainers look after her and Momo.

“Idotic tribute. I’ve no need for children’s toys.” The Lord huffed off the genuine gratitude even as he sat beside Sanme. Momo was out of earshot, not that Ieyasu cared. He’d call her a brat to her face if he pleased. He just didn’t want to see her fat face sullied with tears. Only to avoid the unpleasant appearance, not out of any concern for the child’s feelings. That he had personally selected the doll she played with was a secret he intended to take his grave."
