As he'd been walking around the living room, Bradley had taken a closer look at the many family photos. Most of them featured Max in them, of course, showcasing the different stages of his life growing up from the tiniest, scrawniest twig to who he was now. In some photos the father and son posed together. It was all very heartwarming to see. And also bittersweet, as it again forced Bradley to reflect on his strained relationship with his own father. However he was soon pulled out of these thoughts when one detail caught his eye. The lack of Max's mother in the pictures. Where was she? Why wasn't she featured in the wholesome family dynamic in any way?
