Rumi stood at the end of the hallway, face red and mouth slightly open in surprise. She couldn’t believe what she was hearing. Mira and Zoey liked her? Wanted to kiss her and love her and be with her?
A flurry of emotions ran through her. The first was elation. Zoey and Mira wanted her. Wanted a relationship with her.
The other was was a little different. Annoyance? Frustration? They had been flirty and touchy with her on purpose, just to see what kind of reactions they could get out of her? Why couldn’t they just ask her instead of leaving her all hot and bothered more times than she could count?
That's when the idea formed. Fine, if they were going to play games, she was going to win. This was going to be fun. Sweet torture indeed. -

Nevertheless it hurts his ego a little. Especially seeing Chuuya thrive at something he can't. Spawning a rivalry between them in his own mind.

Then Sunoo realized that, regardless of how much he wanted not to believe in love, or how many times he wondered to himself if he’d ever find “the one”, and how much he was disillusioned by the unfortunate circumstances he'd witnessed, he still yearned for someone else.
