It's only been 3 weeks since the show that changed everything. Johnny is living alone in the wake of his father's arrest. Despite feeling freer than ever, his troubles aren't over, as he now has been thrust into the adult world and is living without many skills that don't involve breaking the law. He has never been alone like this and he has to lean into his friends or face crippling loneliness in a world he is only too familiar with. On top of all this, Johnny has been grappling with feelings for other dudes, especially his colleague Mike. In all of the commotion going on in his head, it seems like only fate that Mike would turn up unannounced at his door, asking for a place to stay.
Read on for a sweet story about learning to love yourself, getting over guilt, protecting the people who matter most in one's life, and the important choice of obligation versus desire.Hiiii this is a redux/reimagining of my old Sing fic called On His Own.
