Throw into the mix this cult of the Absolute and the hot-and-cold advances from a certain High Elf and Mycella is finding her work is cut out for her and her 'adventure' has far more adventure than she'd bargained for when she left the Gate.
Re-imagining of the Baldur's Gate storyline with several original Tavs' and an original Dark Urge. More companions to come and everyone gets a friend and romance option. This particular work focuses on the first of the Abductees, Mycella Stormseye, a half-elven storm sorceress and Artisans Guild clothier and enchanter.

Tav is an Ilmateri monk with budding mastery of Ki, the spiritual energy that flows through all things. Astarion is a cornered animal, stuck oscillating between fight, flight, and fawn.
Against Tav's better judgment, he becomes obsessed with a bright note in Astarion's Ki, betraying his relentless will to live.
Halsin and Tav are kindred souls, both with pain that is sometimes too big to hold. Their relationship blooms where nothing else grows: Halsin's cursed homeland, for which Tav's understanding of Ki may prove the final piece of the puzzle Halsin needs to lift the curse. They become pillars of safety in Astarion's life as he learns to survive in a world not designed to make him suffer.
Astarion feels safest reclaiming his body if he has complete control over Tav's. Tav is more than willing to please. Halsin is eager to perform whatever role is needed of him.
Generally canon compliant/adjacent. Lots of angst, hurt/comfort, sex, healing, and happy endings. Essentially that song you hear behind Astarion's tent on repeat in fanfic form.

While she’s not ‘whack you over the head with a frying pan’ kind of flirty—like Astarion—Karlach can tell Shadowheart is the sort of girl who plays her pretty face and excruciatingly hot body to her advantage without ever letting it be known if she’s really interested, or if she’s just stringing you along because it amuses her to know that you’re interested. It’d been so damn long since she’s been confronted by someone she’d actually want that the confusion and uncertainty of it all is enough to fry her recently scrambled brains.
Karlach also can’t remember if this is just what it feels like to have a big fat crush on a person.

The story takes place in Baldur's Gate 3. After the events of of Baldur's gate 2. He went out to destroy the other bhaal cults, till one of his men betrayed him. Causing him to be taken control by his father Bhaal, he killed his crew, then begin to lead Bhaal cult. For the next 100 or so years, he was under Bhaal control. Unable to control his body, but force to watch. He basically done almost everything the dark urge has done in Baldur's Gate 3. He also remembers everything he was forced to do unlike the dark urge. Now he is free, and is trying to make amends for what he did and stop the absolute that he help create. He also looking for his wife, who he hasn't seen in 100 or more years. As well get back to his home Baldur's Gate.
