Summary
7 years after the apocalypse Stiles sets out to find his high school girlfriend Heather who he’s discovered is still alive in a world overrun with monsters. Along the way he meets Boy, an unusually intelligent dog with his own past tragedies (and who refuses to be called Dude) and the mysterious Argent clan who seem to know more than anyone should, and may be connected to several terrible deaths.

The Crimson Apocalypse is set in a modern monster apocalypse setting, where the world has been infected with something known as The Crimson. The Crimson is a large thing spreading its vines across England. As it does so, The Crimson and its Legion, a group of mutated members from a secret society, are infecting humans and turning them into a large variety of monsters.
Within this world you, the readers, will get to control the thoughts and actions of four people.
Dream, a young man separated from the friends he was with.
Schlatt, a businessman who's lost his son to The Crimson.
Tommy, a teenager who's trying to hold his remaining family together.

At what point when you twist a human's body do they stop being human? At what point does their mind come along for the ride? At what point do they themselves cease to recognize themselves as anything but the monster the mirror reflects, and thus cease to exist as anything but that monster?
Would it be possible for that monster to remember, to become human again, if they only had a friend?
