Summary
Subaru knew that he was unlucky. He knew that he was weak. He knew that Return By Death was the only thing that made him important, but he viewed all of that as nothing as long as he had his comrades, friends and the girl that he loved by his side. However, a shocking moment revealed to Subaru that he was too naive to think that he can trust those people that he stood by their side for more than a year. During the attack at Pristella, his was so unlucky that everyone forgot him and mistook him for the criminals that he tried to save them from, and the result was 1 year of his life being stolen for over 100,000,000 times. Managing to escape, Subaru shall rise up in a painful request for power, swearing vengeance on all of them, where their Deaths will not satisfy him.

Summary
This story began as a comment on a Reddit post, asking what twists and turns would need to take place in the story in order for Ram x Subaru to become a thing.
By this point, I think, nothing could lead to that. But then I read the comments, and found that a lot of people think that there never was a chance, and I found their naysaying ways disappointing.
I think differently, and so I made a draft, about what I thought what could've reasonably occurred to make it happen, with minimal bending of the canon and the characters.
The OP of the post read it, and asked me to write a fic, even if it's still in that summarising, draft like format of that Reddit comment, they'd be interested.
So here it is, or at least, a tribute. If there's enough interest, I might rework it into a proper fanfiction later. Till then, have fun reading my attempt to make one of the most criminally underrated ships a chance to set sail.
