Everything started with a hug.
After that fight in Pacifica, V caught Viktor’s smile in the crowd—joyful, proud, just for him. A living memory of when he wasn’t just surviving, but still figuring life out at his own rhythm. And for Vik, the ice beneath his feet finally cracked. Life pushed forward, pulling him from the past and his stagnated loneliness—whether he wanted it or not.
This is a story about what comes after the end, and what we’re willing to do—and to endure—for love and freedom. Waking up broken, trying to rebuild a body, a purpose, to find a warm place in the sun.
I wrote this to fill the immense hole this game left in my chest—and to give my favorite broken dogs the ending they deserved.
(Post-canon, with some pre-Mikoshi setup. Slow burn. Hurt/comfort. Body horror. Plotted canon divergence. Expect grief, violence, complicated intimacy, and slow, painful healing. Welcome to the ride.)

She needs someone. The only person who is truly worth it. But with her self-confidence crumbling like a sandcastle by the sea, is that enough? Will her luck end up changing in her favor?

This fic came to be for the SilverV week/weekend event on Tumblr -> clicky click!Set in 2079, V was just like anyone else in Night City. She worked, she side hustled, and she gained a red string around her wrist after the passing of a comet in 2069. After watching almost everyone she knew find their supposed soulmates, she called herself a nonbeliever.
At least she did, until a music festival sent her crashing into the path of a certain revived rockerboy.Author updates on a schedule know only to the phases of the moon and occasionally the tides. Predictably irregular.

Venera woke up from a 2 year coma after being cured from Johnny and the relic. Unfortunately she lost all contact with her chooms and her Judy is married to another woman leaving her heart in tatters. Venera is left in NC unable to use cyberware leaving her out of the Merc gig. She tries her best to fight her demons and live a better life, however life in NC proved that was impossible. Arasaka has plans plaguing NC into even more darkness. Venera plans to leave NC for good looking for another fresh start but something in NC makes her stay put, at least for now.
