Although things get more complicated than they should, when it turns out that the new adventurer follows a different set of rules: while everyone is using magic thanks to the energy of the Aether, this self proclaimed "hunter" abuses a bizarre blood magic and an insight out of the ordinary.

Cynical half ghoul twins Mikael and Misha Murakami had dealt a lot of horror and disappointment during the last seventeen years. Taken in by Ogai Mori after the the death of their parents, the twins were know in Port Mafia as the executioners of CCG agents whenever they tried to interfere with their organizations transactions with ghouls all around Japan.
One day after a job involving transportation of rare and illegal items to a client, the twins were suddenly transported to another world by unknown means. Was it the work of an enemy? Or something else?

Pthumerians were one such civilitzation to use umbilical cords. They are gone now. But the Great Ones remember, they know what a connection like that can feel like, so they seek ways to contact. Even if the person who is listening does not want to.
