Darkness and light flash across the screen as hands fiddle with the camera. Finally, it's placed atop something stable and the camera focuses on the person in front of it. He sighs. "I don't know why I'm being forced to do this. It's not like it's MY book." He pauses, a smirk creeping upon his face. "Oh wait, it is." The man, clearly smug, pauses. When he opens his mouth to say something more, there's a loud crash. Yelling ensues. Footsteps run towards the noise. Janus stares at a point behind the camera. There's no obvious emotion on his face, but if you listen closely, you can hear him screaming on the inside. He sighs. "Anyways, before I was so rudely interrupted-" his eye twitches "-I was about to say, prepare to have to hold on to your very seat, because I am about to take you to one of the most terrifying places in existence. Not even hell could compare to the horrors that I am about to unveil to the world. I was hesitant to even post this, scared of the consequences. What if I throw the entire world in imbalance? Then I remembered something very important: I don't care. So prepare yourselves as we enter My Friends' Love Lives. Why? I'm bored and the tension is killing me." A gloved hand covers the screen and it ends.

Janus hadn’t been to the diner in years. He’d moved away from Darrelville, from Mulberry Lane, from Dot’s Diner almost as soon as he could, fresh out of high school and only an adult by a few months. Off to college, then law school, then the bar exam, until he finally stopped moving when he reached New York City and the nice apartment with his name on it.
Now Janus was older, and he had settled. He found a coffee place he liked.

He has a dark plan to bring back Lust and Rage in order to gain control over the Light Sides at all costs. Deceit must ensure he does not succeed and bring back his captors, all while he is bombarded with horrid visions of himself being tortured.
