Grain nods again.

Summary
Scott, Martyn, and Ren all lay in Ren’s pickup truck’s flatbed, watching the stars.
The three of them have been dating for 2 years now and today is their second anniversary.
They had gone out to eat at Scott’s favorite restaurant, went to Martyn’s favorite place to go, the aquarium, and now are finishing off the night with Ren’s choice, watching the stars as a meteor shower occurs.
The three of them lay with the brunet in the middle, Scott on his left. and Martyn on his right.
The elf’s hand finds its way to Ren, interlacing their fingers.
Martyn lays on Ren’s right arm, using it as a pillow as they watch the sky, meteors streaking across it.

Summary
In the wake of learning that Scott is a vampire, Ren is hurt and betrayed, and rejects Scott's attempt to claim him by removing the collar he had been given. But he can't stop thinking about him, missing the easy way Scott would take control over him, and even after trying to distract himself by sleeping with someone else, Ren wants Scott's touch. He wants to serve him. He fights himself about it for days, until finally, he goes to Scott to take him up on his offer.
An offer not to become a fellow vampire, but to become Scott's thrall, and finally be where he belongs.
Contains spoilers for up to episode 5 of Vampires SMP and I very much diverge heavily into doing my own thing with no regard for what may happen in episode 6 hehe.

Still, as always, the journey between seasons is long: light takes years to sketch out paths between lonely, liveable planets. And so Ren enters the simulation that will entertain his mind, and the dream, that has already begun, begins. It is deep, as deep as the empty void it fills with light and life and colour; it is deep, and the self sleeping cannot hear the panicked voice emanating from the intercom:

He stares down at his hands.
His lighter colored hands, covered in callous, with redstone dust under his nails, nails that are chewed down and painted black instead slightly long with no polish on them.
His hands no these aren't his hands shake as he gets out bed, moving to an empty bathroom.
Ren stumbles in, fumbling around for a light switch, and with a flick of it, light blinds him as it fills the room.
His eyes gaze upon fairy blond locks instead of rich, long, brown ones, blood red eyes stare back at him instead of his normal bright blue ones.
Ren’s heart races no that’s not his heart…is it?
“Tango?” he says, and Tango’s lips move but he hears his own voice in his head as he speaks, but from outside, it sounds like the blond’s voice.
Ren steps back, away from the mirror, letting the sink go.
He looks down and sees Tango’s clothes, Tango’s body.
If he’s in Tango’s body, where is Tango?
He feels Tango’s chest seize up, breath coming in, in rapid, shallow breaths.
‘What’s going on!? What’s happening!? Where’s Tango!? Where am I!? Why can’t I just breathe!?’

"I uh..." The man coughs awkwardly into his fist, his cheeks red, "I'm going to try and kill the Wolf."
"Of course you are." Ren says, adding together the price of all the stuff the man wants to buy.
"What?" The man says.
"Thing is Handsome, everyone comes in here, buying gear-" 'oh, yeah, these hurt.' "-Hoping they will kill the Wolf, and they all fail." Ren says, "The lucky ones get away with a few scratches." he says, "The unlucky-"
"End up Dead." The man says, sighing, "My mum said the same thing to me."
"And did she tell you no one has ever actually seen the Wolf killing any livestock?" Ren asks.
"No, because it has." The man says.
"Hmm." Ren hum, "Sure." he says, "That will be 25 silvers..."
"Martyn." The man says, pulling 25 silvers from his satchel at his side, "Wood."
"Ren Dog." Ren says.
or, for ten years, a wolf has been in the woods, attributed with the death of livestock owned by the villagers, many a young men have set out to kill it. Martyn is one of those men, but will his kill it when he finds out it's Ren?
