Summary
When broken down, humanity's primal ways of living consists of two groups:

In a race against time to save his best buddy, Ellis, a young Georgian mechanic, finds himself on a burning rooftop with a coach, a producer, and a gambler. The strangers could not come from more different backgrounds, breeding constant tension amongst them as they are forced to band together for survival on their spontaneous journey to the last city standing: New Orleans.While the mechanic quickly becomes the morale booster of the four, the skeletons in his closet weigh him down and put the team at risk until he finally decides whether to face his traumas head-on... or lose everything to them.
On the other hand, Nick is an opportunistic man, designed to die at the hands of his own regrets, until Ellis tests the inevitability of his fate.

Nick is a man hiding a few secrets, but the biggest one? He really, really likes his normal, quiet, suburban life. He likes his nice lawn, he likes his uneventual morning coffee, he likes saying hello to his neighbors---
---except those new ones, across the street. Ellis and Keith just moved in, and they don't seem to understand any of the meticulously placed social rules and regulations of homeownership; and how would they? Making it big off a series of viral videos and moving out of their shitty apartment wasn't really the plan, but goals are meant to be achieved.
Nick seems pretty hellbent on disrupting the enjoyment of their unexpected windfall with a series of complaints, threats, warnings and fines from the HOA. But Ellis knows how to contend with his moody older neighbor, and when he finds a secret while handymanning his way into the hearts off the rest of the cul-de-sac, he's more than happy to turn the table on the terrible gambler who can't seem to get over the semantics of lawncare.
Modern AU Slice of Life Sit-Com wherein Ellis, Nick and the cast of the Left4Dead are neighbors, caught in a petty feud that everyone but Nick finds hilarious.
