Summary
Keith Kogane has grown up with the Blade of Marmora. Kolivan is like a father figure to him, Thace and Ulaz are like uncles to him, and he's lived with his mother his entire life. When his mother goes missing in action, he's told she's dead. Keith knows she's alive, though.
After regretfully running away from the only place he's known as home, he goes on a search for his mother. He soon finds one of his uncles after infiltrating a Galra ship, he finds himself helping a human find his way to Earth, a place he's only dreamed of.
Keith finds himself traveling across the galaxy making a name for himself, all while trying to keep the secret of his Galra heritage a secret, playing as another victim of the Galra Empire and trying to fit in with the other humans, because these humans may be his only hope of finding his mother.

Lance is a sophomore at Voltron college in the city of Altea. He easily makes friends with Hunk, Pidge and Shay, who were all in a relationship. He meets the resident emo at his dorm and they dislike each other already. Lance meets his professors outside of college at a cafe he works at, called 'Cafe Azul', who would've thought he would see them.

After losing the Castle-Ship the team starts the very (very) long trek back to Earth, and unfortunately, things could be going a lot smoother. After a not-so-good call from Keith, the team engages in what would normally be an easy fight. Except it's not, because they're loaded up on supplies and passengers while at half power. Lance takes one too many hits, ending up stranded on a random planet ocean, with a damaged and powered down red, a broken helmet, and only his thoughts to keep him company.
Where was the team and why weren't they here for Lance yet?
