Summary
When Dean gets closer, he realizes he can hear the sound of a shower running, but he’s already in the locker room by the time he understands what he’s hearing. He stops short in the doorway, eyes widening at the sight before him.
The expanse of Castiel’s back is exposed over the low wall that separated the showers, and Dean’s eyes scan the bare skin hungrily. The scars leftover from his wings mars the skin around his shoulder blades, twisted and dark, and his gaze lingers there briefly, longing to trace the ridges with his fingertips.
Water droplets cascaded down the length of his torso, disappearing beneath the half wall to his hips, and a hungering ache bloomed in Dean’s belly. His grip on the towel in his hands tightened as he stood, frozen in the entryway to the shower room, unable to tear his gaze from the showering angel.

‘That’s just it,’ Castiel said, his blue eyes gleaming enthusiastically. ‘I think we have all been dwelling too much on what could have happened, and not enough on what the Lance was meant to do.’

Castiel stares vacantly at his hands as though they might offer some kind of answer in lieu of his absent father, but they are just hands: trembling and dirty and most recently held tightly by the humans who had changed him in such profound ways.

Summary
Dean is heartbroken because Cas may be dying. Cas talks about his feelings and Dean wants to reciprocate.
Mary Winchester is hiding something and it put Dean's family in danger. He is not pleased.
Things progress with Cas but words are still hard.
Opens with S12E12 from Dean's perspective, though I have taken some liberties, some of the dialogue is direct quotes from the episode.

Summary
Picks up at the end of the episode with Cas and Dean returning to the bunker together, Sam following soon after. The guy's ruminate on their respective feelings after Cas gets jabbed with that nasty ass spear, while Dean concludes his 'no chick flick moments' rule has been thrown completely out the window. Oh, and there's a really old TV.

Summary
”I love you.”
Dean couldn’t get the words out of his head, couldn’t push away the memory trying to worm its way to the front of his mind. A bloodstained white button-up, black ooze that held too much resemblance to the goo from the Leviathans, blackened cracks on pale skin, an old, abandoned barn. Every time he blinked, that was all he saw. His ears refused to register the sounds of the bunker around him. They seemed to be stuck in a loop of the past, hearing what Cas had thought would be his last words on repeat.
———
“I-I love you too, Cas. I don’t know if you meant it the same way, but—I do.”
For a long moment, Cas just stared at Dean, lips parted slightly in what Dean thought was surprise or maybe shock. Dean sighed, ready to get up and leave if Cas wanted him to, but before he could move, a smile broke out across Cas’s face. Dean’s breath hitched involuntarily at the sight of it; Cas so rarely smiled, especially this bright, and something in him wanted to keep it there forever. Jesus, when did he become such a sap?
———
Aka a fic where I made destiel canon and it got a little out of hand and more complicated than I originally planned. Slowly becomes more canon divergent.

Summary
-
Victor just wants to finally enjoy his weekend.
But when weird reports of a man in a trench coat having been arrested for murder in some small town in Colorado are coming in and the names of the Winchester brothers are all of a sudden mentioned for the very first time in almost a decade inside the FBI building, Victor needs to kiss his free time goodbye.
So instead of spending his days on the couch, eating all the takeout he can find and watching crappy movies, he all at once sees himself confronted with an unstable angel, incapable of controlling his powers, a hunter missing from the scene, nowhere to be found, and the other one worried out of his mind about his family.
Yeah, that's not the quiet weekend Victor had been hoping for.
At all.

Summary
Dean gasps at the ceiling in the dark, not entirely sure he's actually awake but unable to avoid the truth. Yes, no one is dying in a barn. Mary is off on her own again, but the boys are all back home. Cas is alive, last Dean checked.
It's still somehow worse, though, because this is the truth: outside the dream, Dean still has something lodged in his throat. It's the same unsaid words he was choking on back in the barn, both real and dreamed. The same words he's had on the tip of his tongue for years have finally slipped back down his esophagus.

Summary
They made it out alive, and, really, that’s all Dean can ask for.
He tries not to think about it, but he can hardly help the unconscious tightening of his grip on the steering wheel or the clenching of his jaw that locks his teeth together and traps his words behind them.
When he casts a glance at the rearview mirror, he finds that Cas is tuckered out back there, sweat-damp hair flopping onto his forehead, an old flannel unearthed from the bottom of his duffel scrunched up into a pillow against the back door. His lips are parted, his forehead creased, and Dean imagines he can hear the sleepy soft breaths that curl the edges of the makeshift-pillow tucked under his chin outwards. His eyelids flutter, and Dean wonders if angels ever dream. He wonders if Cas ever dreams (he’s never been a particularly good angel, has he?), if he ever did, that one time he was human. He sort of wishes that Cas is dreaming now and it’s painless and beautiful and soft.Or;
Angsty lil coda to S12E12 that plays kinda fast and loose with canon, angel anatomy (CAS SLEEPING IS CUTE), and explores the question of: what the fuck is up with Dean Winchester's brain?!

Summary
So like a lot of people I have spent 11 of the last 12 months trapped in the crab bucket of Supernatural fandom once again. And once again I had a lot of ideas but published like 3 of them, but I'd always rather all of this got to see the light of day than just languish on my harddrive.
Again, each chapter is a seperate thing; there's an [E] in the title for each one containing porn and other tags for a couple of the others; the rest are gen.
Some of these are just rough drafts/brainstorming, some are complete scenes without the rest of the fic, and some are both. And sadly, I don't think any of them have proper capitalisation

"I'm the one who almost died," Cas points out testily, arms folded and firm in the doorway. "I think if anyone gets to be upset, it's me."
