"You are a perculiar creature. Something, unlike my eyes have seen", Elderbug said. Link already knew that since he was to different kingdom, his apperance would stick like a sore thumb. The Seer and Iselda had been proof of that.
"I am not from this kingdom" said Link. "I came to explore". "Explore", was a strong word. He didn't have much of a choise.
"Yeah", agreed Elderbug. "My eyes have see a lot of bugs venture into the well over town. But none of them have return, expect the bug that had accompanied you".
Well, that sound reassuring. The Seer, had informed Link about what The Randiance did to bugs in this kingdom, but he had yet see it himself.
The same thing, she had tried to do to him.
(Or Link, before being known as Four in the chain, went into a grand adventure under his Hyrule, growing familair with the kingdom plague by an infection, metting the kingdom's residents and a new adventure awaits him.)

Courage guides all those who bear it, but no one asks what happens when courage is all you have left; when every friend leaves, every door closes, and only the title ‘hero’ remains.

After fighting off a perplexing Yiga attack on the way to Kakariko Village, Link falls extremely ill. Suspecting he’s been poisoned, Zelda rushes to get him help, but as she and her Sheikah friends begin to tend to him, something strange starts to happen: every time Link wakes, it almost seems as if he’s a different person. Is it just delirium brought on by pain and fever? Or is it… something else?
This story does have a planned ending, but number of chapters is TBD!

It’s because she loved you” Saria said, answering his question. “And you didn’t abandon her, out of your own will. You fought to defend your home from a looming threat. You did what you thought was best for her safety. Because you also did it out of love”.
Link grasps her hand tightly, like he wanted to feel her warm but also to reassure himself that this was real. What she said was real. Because, deep down he knew that Saria would never lie for something like this.
“I didn’t deserved her” he could only said in the end.
“You deserved her. You did everything you could for this land and her and everyone you care about. And she manage to provide you with a peaceful and quiet life. A life that would not be possible without you”.
“Don’t you think that you also deserve some rest after everything you have done?”.
(Or Hero's Spirit get a visitor, sometime after he return to the Lost forest and after learning something he decided to return back to LOn Lon ranch and got a first meeting with his descendant and future hero of Twilight).

Ravio has never gone ice skating before, and Link doesn’t bother to hide his groan at this revelation. “Now you’ve done it,” his grumbles are ignored by both parties in the room as Zelda surges out of her seat, eyes glinting in excitement.
“Would you like to learn?”
“That would be nice,” Ravio answers. “But only if Mister Hero comes.” The merchant’s voice reminds Link of honey and smoke; thick and sweet, familiar as the apple orchids recovering on the side of his house.
He looks away, trying to fight the blush off his face. His sister giggles, and he kicks her under the seat.

It was over, Ravio thought as he watched Princess Zelda and Link go through the crack. The slab exploded and Ravio mourned the loss of his counterpart.

The bracelet disintegrated, and all ties between the mirror worlds were cut off. Ravio’s lips curled upward in a bittersweet smile, and a tear ran down his face.

Right in front of Link was a little girl who had fallen in the middle of the road. Covered in dirt from head to toe, her patched work dress hung off her like a coat hanger and was barely held together by threads. Then, at the corner of both eyes, was a small butterfly-shaped marking that glowed a dim blue light.
To say that Link was puzzled and extremely worried by this little girl's sudden appearance was an understatement to say the least.
