You live in a city in the 1920s, and it is overrun with mobsters. Because of this, you're extremely cautious and like to stay informed about what is happening around you, but you come across a man with quite the... unique mindset for a mobster. The Corruption is spreading. With each destroyed AU, Nightmare gains more power. Dream has given up hope that his brother can be saved, and now his only goal is to destroy the Corruption once and for all. For if he doesn't, there won't be a multiverse anymore, and the Corruption could spread to nearby multiverses.
It was thought, since the beginning of the Corruption, that Error was part of it, but Ink discovers that's not the case. The Truce was never broken. But when he goes to find Error, he finds something much worse.
Not everyone fears the Corruption though. Some believe that it's a way to cleanse the multiverse, to make it new. Killer, who serves the Corruption, holds out hope that this new multiverse will be made just for him. That this is all happening because the Corruption favors him.
