Jisung scoffed, stepping away. “I cannot believe this.” He mumbled. “Don't even bother telling him anything about me. I wouldn't want him even if he came all the way here, begging on his knees. Not after this stunt.”

Summary
Jisung, the newly appointed first violin of the Royal Ensemble, the highly acclaimed royal symphonic orchestra. This is the most anticipated night of the year, one that any member of the royal court would have prepared months for, the masquerade ball held in honor of Prince Minho's birthday. Prince Minho, the beloved son of the kingdom, rarely makes public appearances due to the frequency of his diplomatic voyages. Changbin gasps and his eyes widen as soon as he sees Hyunjin and he jumps up. “Prince? What are you doing here?” the guard hisses, somehow making more of a fuss about him than about himself.
“Shh!” Hyunjin puts a finger in front of his lips. “I’m not here on official duty, you doofus. I’m in a cloak.”
“You— I just woke up a moment ago, forgive me for missing the details. But please, Hyunjin-ah. Don’t get yourself in trouble for me,” Changbin answers with a sigh. Hyunjin grits his teeth and ignores Changbin’s words in favor of grabbing the cell keys from the pockets of his cloak.
“Hyunjin— Seriously. What are you doing?” Changbin hisses as Hyunjin puts the key into the lock of the cell doors. His face feels warm, a mix of adrenaline and annoyance mixing in his chest.
“I’m getting you out of this hell hole, hyung,” Hyunjin whispers.
OR: Prince Hyunjin breaks his guard Changbin out of the dungeons to elope.

Summary
If someone from his family saw them right now, he’d be in so much trouble. Jisung wasn’t allowed to talk to the members of other royal families. He actually hadn’t spoken to Minho in about five years.
“Why won’t you look at me, Ji?” He reached his hand forward and caressed Jisung’s jaw, guiding his face so he was looking at him.
“’M not s’posed to,” he mumbled. Minho’s brows pinched and a frown pulled down the corners of his pretty lips. His thumb stroked over the redness that remained on the boy’s warm cheeks.
“What do you mean? You’re not allowed? I don’t understand.”
Footsteps rapidly approached the two princes and Jisung tore his face from the older boy’s grasp, scooting over to put more space between the two of them. If someone saw them together, he’d be doomed, but the threat of punishment didn’t stop the feeling of longing that took over the younger prince at the loss of his old friend’s touch. His cheek was now colder than ever after having the warmth of Minho’s palm pressed gently against it.

Summary
Prince Hyunjin refused to learn how to fight when his father, the king, ordered him to. He despised violence and was determined to use the training room for something else. Captain Seo Changbin, the designated trainer, refused to be directly connected to what he called treason, but still respected his prince's principles, after all, they were childhood friends. He offered the prince to fetch Lee Minho, his subordinate, to help him with his plan.
It worked. Hyunjin danced instead of learning how to fight for four years straight, to the magical sound of Lee Minho's strings.
But now he was going to turn twenty years of age, and his father wanted him to demonstrate at his birthday party what he have learned all those years. And there was only one man in the kingdom who could teach four years' worth of practice in three months.
The problem was that Seo Changbin wasn't speaking to him anymore. Being part of the plan, even if indirectly, grew him apart from the prince, filled with shame and guilt.
Hyunjin had no choice. He was going to have to speak to him again, only to learn that he was not the only one in love for most of his life.
