Summary

Things get a little more real, but as with its predecessor, no life-or-death adventures. Here, teenagers fuck up, Bots learn what it's like on the other side of being protected and maybe a certain Prime might get a break for once in his life.

After the events of Transformers: Prime, Starscream is beaten to near-death by Predaking, leaving him completely blind. A regular day of mining turns chaotic when an unknown creature somehow found its way into the energon mines. However, when they find what had caused the chaos, it became a shock. A small, frightened sparkling had somehow found her way into the mines now found herself in the hands of someone most of the miners would consider to not be responsible for even caring for a sparkling. A red and blue bot named Orion Pax. With the two stunned, Orion found himself in an awkward situation. Especially as this sparkling bore some resemblance to Orion and his closest friend, D-16.
With no record of any new sparklings in the medical database, the two young mining bots find themselves forced to care for this sparkling as it was quickly decided she would become a mining bot just like them. Which left them both scrambling to learn to even how to care for a sparkling.
And that was made even more difficult as it was soon discovered that this sparkling's vocal processor was not functional. However, as time goes by, they learn to teach the young spark to communicate without speech, and discover she had an extreme fear of Sentinel Prime.

Despite Sentinel Prime announcing the war between Quintessans to be back Cybertron is silent.
