Summary
After months of surviving on planet Kepler 246b, the Decepticons, led by Megatron, face a new challenge. As they strive to adapt and find a new 'home' on this alien world that resembles Cybertron but falls short, a new threat looms on the horizon. The Autobots, having discovered their presence, are now pursuing the Decepticons across the planet. Optimus leads a force from Cybertron to Kepler 246b to capture Megatron and his followers. Despite Sentinel Prime announcing the war between Quintessans to be back Cybertron is silent.
There is no trace of war; no death and no sparks lost to the wind in battle.After Megatron's death and Orion Pax' disappearance Optimus have wandered the wilderness, eventually finding himself back in Tarn. The last place they spent time together. The last place on Cybertron that still feels like home.
Where he is supposed to go from here he does not know; and with a sparkling quickly approaching emergence he is desperate to find solace in the few friends he made along the way trying to evade Sentinel.But how is he supposed to find them? No one knows Orion Pax is now Optimus Prime. To the rest of the world Orion died alongside Megatron.
He never told them of who he would become; it was only Megatron who knew. And with the other Primes gone he has no one who can vouch for him.
Except for one other mech.
There is one other mech who knows of his ascension...But who's to say if he still lives?

“Most of the mechs in Iacon have been deemed infertile for many stellar cycles, especially those without cogs”, Sentinel explained, “yet your medical data shows that you are fertile.
...
“Unfortunately a fertile mech cannot carry without a cog, so I must give you one before I keep you”. Orion wanted to respond but he couldn't.
----After the events of the Iacon 5000 Orion Pax and D-16 are taken to Sentinel Prime's personal Service facilities instead of sublevel 50. Orion is informed that he is one of the last fertile mechs in Iacon and is taken in as Sentinel's personal concubine, while D-16 is sent to the pits of Kaon as a silencing tactic.

D-16 uses the pen name Megatron to revolutionise his ideas before being put to work near the core of the planet and ultimately heading off to Maccadam's, which may or may not change the utmost projectory of his life.Oh yeah, he also meets a cogless Orion Pax who's determined to help D-16/Megatron make a change in their functionalist society. However, one gets a cog before the other and causing a slight turmoil in how they view each other's impact.
(Very much IDW-filled with only briefs of TFO in it)
