"Luke, you remember what I said before, at the tree?" Lukas pauses again at the nickname, but stiffly nods. "Good. You know that offer still stands."
"What offer? You just said, 'Let's talk about it'?"
"We'll, from where I'm sitting, there's not much to talk about. It's more obvious than anything." Ian states, holding up their intertwined hands. "Less complex than Chaos."
Lukas stares, inspecting every inch of Ian's face, looking for any semblance of lies or regret, but he doesn't find any. Hesitantly, he speaks. "I'm an asshole. And-" with a sigh Lukas closes his eyes unable to look at Ian, "and I've never actually been in a real relationship before."
"I never would've guessed." Ian mocks lightly, knocking his shoulder against Lukas's. "That doesn't bother me, I've got enough experience between the two of us." Lukas raises a brow.
"Don't you have a kid Malcolm?"
"Exactly!"
