Summary
Fandom… is like a box of chocolates. Some stories are sweet, and some are bitter. Some flavors are classic combinations of well-loved tropes, and some involve more daring recipes. What better time than February to indulge in a varied assortment of mouthwatering love stories? The motivation to write this collection stems from my unwavering love for this pairing. Given the time constraints I have taken on, I cannot vouch for the quality of any individual fic. Some or many of them may end unfinished and leave you wanting more, but I hope that you can treat each story as an amuse-bouche… I hope that part of the enjoyment may come from the blanks that are left to the imagination. I, for my part, will do my very best to publish one “truffle” a day.

Wings have long since been acknowledged as a sign of legacy. When someone dies, entrusting someone close to them with their lifelong mission, it sometimes manifests as wings upon their back. Perhaps as a reminder, perhaps as some inexplicable phenomenon.
When Hikaru is 14 and the ghost that's been stuck to him for the past two years disappears, maybe he should have expected the wings. (But he didn't, and neither did anyone else in his life.)

Touya and Shindou have finally reached a point where they can play each other - but with both being pros with increasingly busy schedules time is becoming a precious resource. Shindou is getting desperate for a solution since Touya gets depressed when they can't play for weeks and does what he can to cheer him up, unknowingly setting something in motion that has been a long time coming.
