There are beasts that roam the Earth. Dragons, fiery and powerful, distinguished by their colors and unique abilities.
Then there are the beasts nobody talks about. The purple fur, the sharp teeth, the bloodthirsty savagery they built themselves up from.
When Keith Kogane more or less gets kidnapped from his home to potentially bond with a dragon, he doesn't think he's worthy enough. He's just a boy who steals motorcycles to pay off his parents debts they left for him in a neat package when they both went MIA.
But the dragons can sense it. He's more. More than he believes.
After all, he's the only one who can figure out who's controlling the Galra.

The blessed of Agni were prone to passion, struggle, and life. They were also prone to violence and barbarism, anger and violence.
Few managed to find a balance. A good portion succumbed to the darker impulses, leading them to rejoice and thrive in warfare.
However, they all shared a common trait inherited from their divine protector: they were drawn to strength.
So if you want to seduce a firebender, beat their asses.
( This is exactly what Shiro and his friends had done without even knowing it.)

Summary
When Lance was captured by the Galra, it hadn’t been some grand battle. It wasn’t a great, world-ending fight. Hell, it had barely been anything but a routine attack for Voltron.
Except, Lance is back, even if after three months. And you never know how much war can change a person.
But Lance will be damned if Rachel and Marco don't pay up for losing the bet on aliens being real. And he has to survive long enough to see Keith's mullet get chopped off.
So all in all, Lance has reasons to live, a universe to save and one god awful mullet to destroy.

If that wasn't already worrisome it seems that the leader of the Gang, that controlled the whole district, seemed to have his eye on him.
Well at least his financial worries are taken care of

- or he’s gong to die
So no matter how you see it his money issue is at least solved.
