Two decades have elapsed since the Resonance Cascade at Black Mesa, and a long-forgotten hero has resurfaced. Thrown into a train station with no recollection of her true history, 17-year-old Violet Rose accompanies her boyfriend, Aiden Calhoun, as they must navigate through City 17 armed only with sheer determination, adrenaline, a katana, a scythe, and a Snark as their pet. However, Violet quickly discovers that this reality contrasts deeply with the games she played during the False Reality imposed by the G-man. It's not solely the Combine she has to confront; they've allied with a faction once thought to be extinct.

Now, her mission is to dismantle both of these threats and restore order, joining forces with individuals she never imagined she’d team up with, and discovering a new family after losing her old one. Additionally, she forges friendships with people from the past, some of whom seem oddly familiar.

Summary
A small science experiment at a local science facility, what could possibly go wrong?
Well, for 18-year-old Violet Rose in late 2005, that question quickly found an answer. A failed experiment at her father's workplace, Black Mesa Research, spiraled out of control, unleashing aliens from another realm. After her father goes missing in the facility due to the Resonance Cascade, Violet encounters Gordon Freeman, another lone survivor of the incident. Together, they navigate the wreckage of the facility, facing danger armed with nothing but a crowbar.
Twenty years after the events of the Black Mesa incident, Violet Rose was invited to share her story about the Resonance Cascade. This is her story.

Summary
As an attempt to create peace between Earth and Borderworld Xen, Gordon Freeman opens up a secret school in Black Mesa where both teenage humans and Xen creatures can learn together. Of course, no one in Black Mesa knows about this other than Gordon himself, so the school has to stay absolutely top secret. Who knows what could happen if even one of the students is spotted?
But of course, like any school, there's certainly no lack of drama! And it doesn't help that the Xenian students have all sorts of strange abilities, as well as the fact that not every student is actually FROM Xen or Earth.
Can Gordon keep the peace between all of his students, keep them a secret from the rest of Black Mesa, all while actually teaching them some things? Find out, in "Black Mesa Academy"!
