Megumi just stared at him for a moment, letting the silence stretch. It wasn’t uncomfortable, nothing was uncomfortable between them. They had known each other for four years now, came back from the brink of death over and over, fought as allies and enemies. As much as Megumi tried to fight it, they had grown close.
