The RED Sniper couldn't say when his unlikely friendship with the BLU Spy had become the warmest thing in Coldfront. Only when Spy vanished without a trace did Sniper realize he might just freeze to death without him.
But when Spy's return proves almost as chilling as his absence, Sniper is left with more questions than answers. Why does it feel as if the man who came back is a ghost of the friend he'd come to know? And how far would Sniper go to find out?

Jeremy Willis is a short tempered, dyslexic young man from the streets of Boston who was forced to grow up too fast. Halloween, 1972. The mission: Locate The Philosopher's Stone within Merasmus' library and deliver it to her. A simple mission that should have been done by morning, but disaster strikes when the mercenaries accidentally unleash a monster from one of Merasmus' books - The Shadow Blight, an eldritch abomination from another world.
The teams are scattered across the globe by this foul creature and Heavy and Medic are left stranded at Gray Gravel Co., where they find themselves in the midst of an apocalypse. With no allies to turn to and the Shadow Blight looming large, the two men try to gather their resources when a familiar foe finds them.
The Classic Heavy is somehow alive, and they quickly realize that they have no choice but to work together to survive. They don't know what lies ahead of them as the Shadow Blight ravages the world, but they must stay strong.
