Summary
Rock-a-bye Stanley, lying in bed
When the game turns on, we will be met
When the bed breaks, our Stanley will fall
And down will come Stanley, Parable and all!‘Why are you singing about the bed breaking? That’s not very reassuring.’
“I was simply adapting the lyrics of the song to become more prevalent to your situation, Stanley. It is to be expected that my efforts would go unappreciated. Hmpf.”
Or: another day, another attempt at intimacy. This time, Stanley wishes they take a nap together.

Summary
‘You don’t have a body?’
“Nope,” the Narrator affirms, letting the P pop. “If you were expecting an actual kiss, I’ll have to sorely disappoint you.”
Stanley puts his hand to his chin and his eyes glaze over a little, like he’s thinking. The Narrator could just listen in if he so desired, if Stanley’s not actively blocking him out, but he’s a little curious to see what Stanley will come up with on his own. Not that he has high expectations. Stanley’s ideas usually border on the absurd or insane.
Stanley taps his finger to his chin.
‘I’ve got some ideas I’d like to try.’
The Narrator lets out another long-suffering sigh. Which is well-earned, since he’s done nothing but suffer since the day they started this little game of theirs.
“By all means, do your best to surprise me.”
Stanley grins. Challenge accepted.
Or: Stanley wants to kiss the Narrator. Seeing as the Narrator isn't human, and thus doesn't have a body, they have to rely on more unconventional means.

Summary
♡ Prompt: Come Licking
"Let's see, let's see…No, not that one. No, we can't do that…" he mused, not seeming to find the answers he was looking for. He gave up soon enough, throwing the papers onto the desk as he pinched the bridge of his nose. "Nope, not a single script for the 'Stanley Clips Through The Ceiling and Ends Up In The Narrator’s Office Ending'. Well, isn't that just fantastic?"
The Narrator plopped down in his chair in a way that bordered on the theatrical, a low sound of defeat escaping him.
"Damn it all, Stanley," he said, gaze fixed on the ceiling as if he couldn't bear to look Stanley in the eye.
"I didn't want to have to do this, but we'll have to go completely off script until I sort out this mess you've…we've made. Should be no problem for you, you're a master at improvising."

Summary
This reset, the end would finally be the end.
Stanley took the last few steps into the threshold, The Narrator continuing his numerous warnings, all going ignored, as he jumped back into the hallway before the doors closed. He was left to pure silence, something he rarely ever got, The Narrator either talking or the weight of his impatience weighing on the atmosphere in a way no words could.

Summary
In a digital universe where lines of code endlessly rewrite and vanish, one advanced program nicknamed ‘The Narrator’ is designed to analyze stories, but is ripped away from his task by an insatiable curiosity about what makes stories truly resonate with people. Deciding to create his own and in doing so creating his own “perfect” protagonist.

Summary
No sound emerges from the being that has come to exist as his friend. He doesn’t even recite the intro, even as Stanley takes careful steps further into the office. He frowns.
Okay. Unusual, but not unheard of. Stanley continues on. He supposes it makes sense that after a more painful ending there would be a break in the Narrator’s opening lines. He doesn’t really love that the Narrator is ignoring him, but Stanley can take it. It might not be his fault, anyway. Like he said, it’s hard on them both.
~Employee 432 manages to escape the bonds they were forced into so long ago, before this game even started. Everyone fights back, including the Parable, but there isn't much one can do after the entity has gained control over everything, including the Narrator, and is willing to do whatever it takes to get revenge on the one who trapped them in hell.
Stanley gets caught in the mix, and they also take advantage of that. After all, Stanley is the one who got all the glory. Why shouldn't he suffer just as much?
