Summary
It has been years since the train crash, and Susan Pevensie is finally getting her life on track. She is an english teacher that partakes in ordinary, non-magical activities. That is, until, one of her students (who happens to resemble her younger sister) writes a story that feels all too familiar. She finds herself grappling with her past with memories that she had thought were make-believe starting to resurface.
She finds Narnia calling to her again. Why? After all this time, after everything that has happened…she was hesitant to return. Unfortunately for her, Narnia does not relent. It seeps into her everyday life until she can not ignore it anymore. With the people of Narnia trapped in an endless sleep, she feels compelled to go and help one last time. That’s what her siblings would have done, and long ago it is what she would have done too.
NOTE:
The first 3 chapters are weird, I was still getting used to things. Gets better by 4, might even want to start there! -

When war comes to England and Helen's husband enlists and a bomb shatters her window during an air raid, she finds herself compelled to evacuate all six of her children to the countryside.

Perhaps to the world they present as one big happy family, and on the surface, they are, but a magical secret past Helen doesn't know about and Susan comes to deny shapes everything about their future, for good and for bad, and may end with some of them being separated by a terrible train disaster no one could have foreseen.
