The leader takes a step closer. And another, and another, until he’s face to face with Hyunjin.
He has sharp angles, a strong nose, and tired eyes. His lips, plush and pink from the cold, winter air, part with surprise as he takes in the sight of Hyunjin before him. Though he appears to be slightly older, a little slower, his movements are sure and confident. Wolf Witcher.
“Furritus,” he calls out, voice low with relief. “You’re home.”
Hyunjin bows his head slightly, the smile never leaving his lips. Felix can’t help but feel warm inside at the sight of him so happy, so content.
“I’m home.”
The leader smiles warmly before taking Hyunjin into his arms tightly. They hug, and only then, does the wolf catch Felix’s gaze.
"And you have a guest."
Or, Upon Felix's request, Hyunjin takes the prince to Kaer Morhen: the infamous Witcher's Keep. There, they open the door to a world of challenges that they never thought they'd be facing. Luckily, they don't have to brave it alone.

It's rather a pity Rumi was never informed of that particular part of her history.

Summary
When Brier accepts a job from the Marquise of Ainoren, he thinks it will be a simple job; dispatching bandits was something he did quite often, and he was confident that he would be able to do it again without issue. He would be in and out of town in three days, maybe less if he was especially effective and meticulous with his work. Simple and straightforward.
But when the Lady's groom-to-be falls to his knees at his feet begging for his help, he can't help the faintest hint of pity from sprouting in the very back of his mind. With the promise of fair and additional pay, he decides to accept this extra assignment, thinking that it would be an easy way to make extra coin on the side.
"Then lay out your provisions," Brier nodded, kneeling down to meet his gaze. "What will you have me do?"
Niko looked up at him. His expression was marred by raw desperation, his voice hoarse as he spoke.
"I can't marry the Marquise. I want you to help me escape."
