He knows what he means to the people around him and he expects it when Dick brushes past taking Robin away and making him a Justice League fugitive. He expects it when Bruce doesn't do more than nod after the year from hell. He even expects it when he returns from four years of nightmares with Ra's, victorious, but clearly not missed by the people who could have saved him. He expects it, but that doesn't make it hurt less.

    Or

    Ra's takes the battle with Tim a step further in new horrifying ways. Tim wins, but going home doesn't feel like a reward anymore.

Apparently his Beloved hadn’t appreciated the most recent gift, which isn’t a first but such a reaction over a book is somewhat surprising considering similar gifts did not come to bring the same reaction. Ra’s wouldn’t deny his curiosity in regards as to what provoked such hate in those beautifully blue eyes, but there is more than hate behind those glaciers. “To what do I owe the pleasure of your visit, my Beloved?”

He still rights wrongs, and does heroic things, just...with a bit more of a violent edge than most. Unfortunately, one of these jobs forces him to return back to Gotham, despite all of the risks. He just has to go to a gala, though, and avoid the Bats.

    What he hadn't expected was just how one of the Bats had grown up, and just how beautiful they looked at the white tie gala the undercover mission he was on led him to.

    When he came out, he came out to Bruce, Dick, Alfred, and Barbara.
    Tim Drake being a guy had become such an accepted fact that tabloids and people forgot that he was in fact, not born a guy.

    But, hay, at least his siblings know that he’s trans.

    Right?

    Well it doesn't take long for the news to come out when he is the only one who can go undercover, and confront a growing threat.
