That is all Scott remembers from a full 50 years of his immortal life. The rest is a blank. The emotions that come with the memory of the song are undeniable though. Anguish. Warmth. Tears. A pure, absolute love. The thoughts of this time faded from his mind until he hears the song again. It shows up from time to time, occasionally being played around the server.
Xisuma used to love singing.
Sometimes he still does, but usually stops before the song ends, the painful memories too much for him to handle. But intentions aside, Ex has been trapped in the Backrooms for years now, an endless labyrinth of liminal spaces where time and space don't work right, moments of mental stability are few and far between, and, oh yeah! Can't forget the evil beasts.
Though Ex has managed to cling to their life and remaining sense of self for this long, they may not be able to make it much longer before they get killed or go insane. But there's no sure way to escape the Backrooms, and Ex certainly isn't going to get out on their own.
