Bill snaps his fingers, and his triangular body unfurls before Ford’s eyes, rolling out over the Mindscape like a tapestry.
It happens so quickly that Ford’s mind stalls out. One moment, Bill is floating above the cushions next to him, and the next there is a tall, three-dimensional someone sitting perched and cross-legged and suddenly leaning way too far into Ford’s personal bubble.
“Whaddya think, kid?” That voice, the one that usually echoes all around him, is suddenly thrust past a pair of lips, a single vector pointed directly into Ford’s chest.
Karaoke and a few rounds of cosmic cocktails end up revealing a secret Ford has kept for years.
Or rather, Bill rips it out of its hiding place, for fun.

Sixer was so easy to manipulate, and it all was because of the man’s deep seeded fear of loneliness. He would do anything to ensure that he didn’t end up alone. Heck, his whole motivation for starting his research in the first place was so he could be remembered. Yet now, because that stupid red neck had finally had enough of it all and called it quits, his puppet was having second thoughts about their project. And Bill just couldn’t have that. So Sixer didn’t want to be alone, did he? Well, he could make sure that he would never be alone again, if it meant that Ford would finally finish what they’d begun………
TLDR; Bill realises that Ford is considering abandoning the portal, so he babytraps him.

"There were two things Ford loved and believed in with fervor: Science and Bill, his muse."
A Mystery Trio AU in which Bill planned to take over the world, this by making Ford and Fiddleford make a portal for him so he could travel to their dimension. Bill took a certain liking to Ford, wanting to keep him for himself, and therefore the triangle (Who now often took a demonic looking human form in Ford's dreams) began to charm him in the way he knew Ford would fall for. With praise that fed his ego.
Alternatively;
Bill's plans to take over the world are discovered by Fiddleford, who now along with Stan have to stop him, and they already know how to. Turning Bill into a human and sealing his powers.This work is still in progress, therefore more tags will be added as the work progresses, ratings may also change.
Billford is the focus, but Fiddlestan will also have it's spotlight.

Summary
Therapy isn't working, and the Axolotl needs a new approach. Spur of the moment, he sends Bill off to the human realm, not knowing that Bill is struggling with a lot more than he lets on. For fear of his identity being revealed, Bill doesn't speak to anyone, knowing that they'd kill him when he is most vulnerable. Despite all of this and unbeknownst to Bill, it puts him on a path of redemption, forgiveness, and a second chance at love.

But Bill Cipher is an unusual case. They wouldn't put it past him to make up an entirely new mental illness directly out of his ass and blame it all on the very place trying to help him get well.
The entity known as Bill Cipher has malicious intent, and nobody's quite sure why. It's the Axolotl's job to find out, which is proving far harder than necessary. He's hardly what anyone would call cooperative. He's arrogant and prone to making sarcastic comments. He diverts the attention away from him every time Axy is sure they're close to making some sort of discovery.
There's no payoff working with him.
But his story is very, very interesting. And they're determined to coax it out of his sick little head no matter how hard they have to push.

Stanford Pines, a scientist far from home summons Bill Cipher, a deity even farther from his home.
Stanford Pines has been down on his luck for a while now, but he didn’t think he’d go as far to summon a demon and have it work. Now partnered with a god he builds a portal to connect their worlds, only for his muse to go dark near the portal completion. One day while waiting anxiously to fall asleep, he stumbled across a stack note pad with a hastily written help message from none other than Bill. After reading it Ford is pissed and boots up the portal, determined to find his muse and kill that bastard at the root of every thing that happened. -

Bill Cipher laughed internally at how easily fooled The Axolotl was, just spew a couple of vaguely remorseful words, and the overgrown salamander was more or less putty in his hands.
And he would’ve voiced his amusement out loud too, if it wasn’t for the next words that came out of The Axolotl’s mouth.
“Find one to say to you, the words, ‘I love you.’ And mean so with their very hearts. For that is when your powers will come. If not, your spirit shall stay apart.”
Bill would’ve cursed at the entity, but he didn’t even have the chance before his very being was reformed, molecule by molecule, and sent back to that hick town.
Or, The Axolotl, instead of sending Bill to the Theraprism, gave him the Beauty and the Beast treatment.
