Well, it is now mid-September 2022, and I can already sense myself suffering from FFXIVWrite withdrawal once I run out of 2022 prompts to fill. So soon I'm going to go back and fill all of the 2021 prompts I missed, with the help of co-author Narien, whose chapters will be marked in the ToC. I sure hope my writing is at least not as cringe as it was a year ago.
Oh, and I have more WoLs now. Because are you really playing the critically acclaimed MMORPG Final Fantasy XIV if your OC count doesn't duplicate every year?

FFXIV Write 2021 was the first occasion in which I went to flesh out the backstory of my Warrior of Light, inspired by a friend who had put plenty of thought into hers. "A Keeper's Tale" is the collection of all of the revised prompt work and other stories of my Warrior of Light, Myriana Ruan, before the story of FFXIV begins, beginning with her childhood.

Summary
She has told Alphinaud again and again that she is no longer the lost sister he once knew, and it is true that she has come so far from where she began, yet when gazing up at Myra, there's a sense of hopelessness that pricks at the back of her throat; a hollow, aching realisation that even were she multitudes stronger than she is now, the lofty height of the Warrior of Light is something she will never know.
