Tydus sat alone in the corner of your bedroom, the glow of her rose-etched sword casting faint pink light across the closet door. She clutched one of her beloved pods like a talisman, her knuckles white against the tiny orb of magic and soap.
“I should be stronger than this,” she whispered to herself, voice shaking. “A warrior, a guardian... but I don’t even know if I’m me. I don’t even know if I’m—”
The closet door slammed open. Out stepped Tina, her heels clicking against the floor with the rhythmic irritation of a metronome set too high. Her earrings jingled mockingly as she crossed her arms.
“Oh my god,” Tina scoffed, rolling her eyes hard enough you could practically hear it. “Are we seriously doing this? Another identity crisis? What’s next, you going to write sad poetry about it on my staff paper?”

Summary
As a traveling mage, Chance has never settled down and called any place his home. He did not mind it though; going on adventures has always been in his blood. His biggest adventure would arrive after the shipwreck that washes him ashore of a strange island.
Without his staff, his magic is limited in its abilities. Desperately seeking any semblance of civilization causes him to be in a fierce, one sided battle with a dragon. He barely gets to escape before a strong, beautiful, pink haired warrior slays the beast before him.
In awe of her stature and strength, he attempts to speak to her. She resists his advances and tells him to stay away from her. Wanting to leave the island, he defies her orders.
Being annoyed with his persistence, she reluctantly talks to him. A relationship between them blossoms like a springtime rose. In this Greek inspired fic, a cursed warrior reforms her heart and allows the wandering mage a permanent residence in it.
