Summary
Long ago, the four nations lived together in harmony. Everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked. Only the Avatar, who was the master of all four elements, could stop them. However, when the world needed him the most, he vanished. A hundred years passed, and a new Avatar named Aang was discovered.
Aang was an airbender, and although he was skilled in airbending, he still had a lot to learn before he could save anyone. The people believed Aang could save the world, and he did. Now, it was time for a new generation to carry on his legacy and protect the balance of the four nations. The cycle of the Avatar continued to ensure peace and harmony for all.
However, something went wrong when the new Avatar Korra and her mentor, Tenzin, who was Aang's son, were involved in an accident in Ba Sing Se. Korra was left in a weakened state, and Tenzin went missing. As they struggled to recover and find answers, a new threat emerged that put the balance of the four nations at risk once again.
Now a new generation will help Korra. and save the world just as Aang had done before them.

Only years after the death of Avatar Korra, the world she had protected for decades fell into chaos. As the White Lotus failed to achieve its goals of locating the new Avatar, The world became desperate. The White Lotus was eventually disbanded after many years of failing to accomplish its mission of maintaining balance. Political turmoil ever-present as corrupt leaders take charge of the world, the Avatar seemed like a very distant memory to the average person. The conspiracy behind Korra’s death grows, and many nations start to blame each other for her demise. This unrest may lead to a World War between the 4 nations but who will be there to stop it? The next Avatar hasn't been found and while daily life without Korra’s presence remains unchanged, the era of the Avatar feels like a bygone time, an age of safety faded. That’s where it all lines up for a group known as the Black Lotus. An Organization whose goals may align as much with the historic White Lotus as the Red Lotus, the collective who left them to pursue their own belief, that killing the Avatar to end the Avatar cycle could stop prevents any nation from misusing that power. The Black Lotus believe that to stop this world war, the Avatar needs to die.

The Fire Nation never attacked. They tried. But the Northern Tribe had become paranoid. They struck just as the Sozin attempted to launch his own takeover, and the two powers didn't so much as neutralize each other as blow up and cover everyone in soot.
Now, after the untimely death of Princess Yue, both Water Tribes have decided to defend the only heir to their chiefdoms. And so, at age 11, Sokka, son of Hakoda, disappears without a trace.
It's safe to say not everyone is happy with this arrangement.
