Summary
The Pendragon line, for however long it may last, would be blessed with one, specific gift.
For just three days, just once in a lifetime for every Pendragon, time inverted on itself, tangled by the hand of otherworldly magic. Past and future exchanged, and in the balance, the present trembled—fate unraveled and wove itself anew under the guidance of their knowledge.

Summary
If serving Arthur was Merlin's destiny, then why was Morgana the one he felt inexorably drawn to?
Every time his thoughts followed this trail, he felt the press of the dragon’s prophecy, Kilgarrah’s rasping words so potent it was as if they were etched into his skin like scales. Arthur was the one he was meant to serve. Arthur was the one who would make it safe for magic users to thrive once again in Camelot.
So why was it Morgana he couldn’t help but fixate on?
--
OR A Morgana-centric BBC Merlin rewrite in which Merlin doesn't blindly listen to Gaius and finds connection with Morgana amongst the dangers of Uther's court. Burdened by destiny but hounded by desire, Merlin navigates the treacherous path of fate. Morgana attempts to walk the righteous road but makes difficult, and often bad, choices in her quest for a just world.

Summary
Arthur died. Merlin didn’t. (
Unfortunately).Fifteen centuries later, Merlin’s still alive—older, grumpier, and done with humanity. Then Arthur returns, reborn as a rich, distractible golden retriever of a man. His enemies? Reincarnated too. Arthur’s memory? Gone.
Kings are out, influencers are in. So Merlin becomes a kid (long story), grows up with Arthur (longer story), and ends up his manager (don’t ask).
Reincarnation, reluctant friendship (maybe romance, very salacious), and one exhausted wizard trying to stop destiny from falling apart—again.
Includes some of Merlin's life before Arthur's return because history and travelling to other countries in history is really fun to write.
I update when I update :)
SPOILER:The romance only starts after Arthur's memories return.

Ancient Melody: An old druidic slang term referring to the Call to Destiny. All people will experience this calling at some point in their lives, with many druids describing this as sounding like an enchanting song. Those who try ignoring it will often find that they cannot do so for very long.
A travelling bard is a wonderful guise for a druid. They go wherever they wish, never staying in one place for long enough to be found out. However, like all druids, Wren has avoided Camelot like to plague for fear of being caught.
However, when she learns Merlin, her childhood best friend, is in Camelot after his own Call to Destiny, Wren decides it’s time to go too.
She’s been ignoring her destiny, her call for far too long out of fear. But now, she knows it’s time to listen. Time to follow that Ancient Melody to Camelot and see where it leads her.

Summary
"But the sorcerer--the terrorist, the one who hated mundanes. What became of him?" Merlin asked.
“He’s probably dead," said Hunith.
“What did they call him?”
She gathered the fabric of her kirtle in her hands. “Balinor,” she said, looking away. The side of her face that remained facing him was spotted with old, familiar scars, mottling her eyebrow into patches and making her right ear small with ruin. The skin was dragged like rivers over her cheekbone and jaw, a little pale and tough. Merlin loved her, loved this face, though he knew it disgusted the town. But, for the first time, Merlin reckoned he knew just how this had happened to her, just whose fire this was.
And if that Balinor was alive, and Merlin ever happened upon him, Merlin would kill the son of a bitch. -

Summary
Everyone thought the prophecy about Camelot’s Golden Age was grand and glorious.
"One day, a fair and just king will bring Camelot into its Golden Age… if they reach it."
Uther assumed it was him, with magic eradicated from the land.
Nimueh thought she was destined to guide him as court sorcerer.
Morgana was under the belief that it was her right.
The druids whispered that Emrys, the greatest sorcerer of all time, would be the key. They were all wrong.
The prophecy wasn’t about glory, conquest, or restoring magic.
It was about keeping Arthur Pendragon alive long enough to actually be king.
Which meant Emrys’ true, legendary destiny was not to wield unimaginable power or unite Albion— but to be the world’s most powerful, put-upon babysitter.

Summary
In Camelot, the splendid city that rules over the twelve districts, the Games are just another annual spectacle to entertain and reaffirm power.
For Merlin, a young man from the harsh and forgotten District 7, being chosen in the harvest means accepting an almost certain death... until he truly meets Arthur Pendragon, son of Queen Ygraine Pendragon and the favorite face of Camelotian propaganda.
Arthur is not a mentor by choice, but his charm and popularity make him the perfect image to accompany the Crown Contenders. Between training sessions and secret conversations, the cold formality transforms into something deeper: an attraction as intense as it is impossible.
In a world where the borders between Camelot and the districts are impassable walls, Merlin and Arthur will have to face not only the threat of the Games but also the laws and prejudices that seek to keep them apart.
Because in Camelot, loving the wrong person can cost more than just your life.

Summary
"Half of her is Arthur." The dragon spoke calmly, which didn't match the slight curling of its mouth at all. It made Merlin uneasy. "And the other half..."
"Is her mother?" Merlin figured, not really seeing why the dragon was actually grinning now.
That was how children worked, no? One half father, the other half mother. That's how they were made. But the dragon made Merlin rethink his assumption as apparently, he seemed to be very, very wrong.
"The other half is magic." The dragon waited for Merlin to react, but the young warlock didn't. With a disappointed huff, he added, as if it was the most obvious thing in the world, "Half of her is you, Merlin. You are magic."
That did not add up on so many levels. And yet, Merlin didn't know how to contradict the dragons' statement. His vision blurred, his heart racing out of control.
"I... I'm a mother now?!"
"Merlin, no-"

Starting with Valiant, Arthur begins to realize that maybe—just maybe—Camelot’s problems aren’t caused by magic alone, no matter what his father’s been screaming his whole life.
Instead, it’s a mess of emotional tangles, terrible communication, and the dawning horror that Uther might be completely wrong about… well, everything.

Summary
For a split second that lasts eons, Arthur exists in that horribly weightless space before gravity conquers, and then he's falling. Distantly, he hears Merlin cry out his name in panic, and then he’s bracing himself for impact.
An impact that never comes.
Silently hoping, begging, for anything but what he knows he’s about to see, Arthur turns his head to look.
And sees Merlin, hand outstretched, and eyes ablaze with gold.
***
Faced with the revelation of Merlin's secret and a sudden internal war between duty and sentiment, Arthur must make a decision that will affect both of their fates. And when Merlin is gravely injured, the time to make that decision rapidly dwindles. Arthur must quickly choose what matters most: the demands of the law, or those of his heart.
